Senior Recruiter – Staffing Opening, Hurst, TX

We are excited to be looking for a Senior Recruiter to attract candidates to interview and hire great employees. A successful recruiter will collaborate with Branch Manager, Clients and Team on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. A recruiter will lead significant staffing initiatives, providing strategic recruitment, selection, placement support and direction to assigned client groups. Consults with Branch Manager to develop recruiting plans and programs to achieve business goals. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the Recruiter is to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.


  • Conduct phone screens with potential candidates and forward to Hiring Manager(s) for review.

  • Set up phone/zoom and in person interviews with Hiring Manager(s) to determine suitability of candidates.

  • Work with Hiring Manager(s) to determine appropriate offer details to be presented to candidates

  • Prepare offer letters and ancillary documents and present to candidates.

  • Work through negotiation process, including explanation of benefits, bonus structure, time off, etc. to ensure candidate has all questions answered.

  • Complete initial new hire documents for new employees and hand off to HR for processing.

  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc

  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications

  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule

  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes

  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated

  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”


  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college/university or 4-years specific recruiting experience or comparable combination of education and experience

  • MUST HAVE Skilled Trades experience (i.e. Industrial Maintenance, Welding, Machine Operators, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbers, etc…)

  • Minimum of 4 years of full lifecycle staffing or recruiting required

  • Experience with using Temp Works is a plus

  • Prefer someone that has agency and corporate recruiting experience

  • Prefer someone that has experience hiring hourly as well as direct hire salaried professionals

Additional Information

Monday to Friday

$50,000 to $60,000
