This position is responsible for providing technical and analytical guidance to applications team members and interacting with the user community to improve business processing and user understanding of their applications software.

 PREFERRED

• Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

• Proficient in Web-based system applications development and support in particular Hansen Technologies (Customer Service and Work Order/Asset Management system), Lawson (Financial and Human Resources), and/or CIPPlanner (Contract and Project Management).

• Experience with Data Warehouse concepts and tools.

• Five years’ experience developing, implementing, testing, and supporting ERP applications including portfolio integration and work flow.

• Proven experience with Oracle and SQL server database systems using SQL/PLSQL.

• Identifies, analyzes, designs, develops/configures software and systems applications (in house developed and third party) to ensure processes and functionality of the applications comply with the organization’s requirements and development standards.

• Researches, plans, develops, tests, implements, and supports internal & external interfaces and workflows among existing and new application/data management portfolios and platforms to produce seamless integration and process flows.

• Investigates, analyzes and makes recommendations to management regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modifications

• Works with key internal stakeholders and external vendors to influence the direction of third-party applications.

• Implements periodic maintenance releases of applications, interfaces, work/flows, data models and reports including enhancements, redesign, and defect correction.

• Provides technical and analytical guidance to applications team members.

• Provide production support for the applications portfolio(s) and associated integration, work flows, data models and reports.

• Develop/maintain documentation for application portfolio, interface and work flow, data model and report support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

• Ten years’ progressively responsible experience in designing, developing/configuring implementing and supporting software applications (in-house developed and third party).

• experience with Oracle and SQL server database systems using SQL/PLSQL.

• Five years’ experience developing enterprise reporting solutions including star schema models, ETL, OLAP  cubes, Web or Report UIs.

• Five years’ experience with Microsoft Stack: SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services, Reporting Services, pivot tables and Tableau dashboard development.

• Knowledge of Microsoft office, MS Project, Visio, and Crystal report writer.

• Skill in the use of programming tools such as: Visual Studio .NET, Web Services, RESTful API, XML, AJAX, PL/SQL developer, VBScript, JavaScript, AngularJs, Node.js, SSRS and SSIS.

• Skill in using Windows and UNIX operating systems.

• Skill in the use of Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Visio.

• Skill in using Data Warehouse concepts, tools, and Crystal reports.
