Immediately hiring Shop Workers for a large metal manufacturing/distribution plant on the northeast side of SA. Pay is $18/hr.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd shifts
Requirements:
- Prepares material and line in accordance with specifications.
- Verify, weigh, bind, and tag unit.
- Discharge material from the line and place it on the corresponding skid.
- Ensures all products meet customer specifications.
- Thread the line, verify material dimensions, and adjust speed and tension to produce a quality product.
- Previous manufacturing and machine operating experience.
- Ability to use measuring tape.
- Must be able to follow instructions and schematics.
- Machine/production experience required.
- Prior metals experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction.
- Repetitive movement while operating machines, standing the entire shift, bending, stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
