Our client in West Houston is looking for qualified steel fitters.
Responsibilities:
– Must be able to read drawings and blueprints and weld accordingly
– Inspections, steps, and other instruction are followed
– Follow proper safety procedures
– Some travel within Houston and surrounding areas
– Must be qualified AWS for structural steel
– Knowledge of steel and sheet metal fabrication and welding
– Minimum 1 year of experience
– Certified to AWS
– Must be able to lift, stand, stoop, twist, and bend for long periods of time
– Must be able to work in any type of environment – outdoors or in an open shop
