Immediately hiring woodshop workers for a large company in San Antonio. Pay is $15/hr. Shift is Mon-Fri, 40 hours a week (No OT) 7am-3:30pm
Job Details:
- Seeking at least 6 months – 1 year experience truss building
- Will be assembling trusses in shop.
- Verify the size of each precut part, then move the specific truss pieces into position
- Assemble cut material into trusses to specification
- Assemble pre-cut wood into the triangular structure
- Operate hand/power tools to assemble trusses and wall panels
- Place metal reinforcements and brackets over connections to build truss
- Pull plates, stack finished product, band and mark materials
- Keep work area clean and neat
- Must be able to follow instructions to assemble trusses.
- Must be able to read tape measure.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Must have own hand tools.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Background friendly.
