Vinyl & Graphics Detailer (Sign Manufacturing)VIP-South Dallas is hiring a Vinyl, Printing, & Graphics detailer to work in a sign manufacturing shop located in Cedar Hill, TX. This is a temp-to-hire long-term opportunity. Must use machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions.
Shift/Schedule:
- 1st shift (6am-3:30pm)
- 2nd shift (2pm-10pm)
- Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Make cut and print files from client's drawings
- Pulling material for orders
- Machine set-up, change consumables, and tooling set-up
- Daily machine operation for part processing
- Mechanical troubleshooting of machines
- Read and interpret measurements and plans
- Proactively recognize defective material
- Packaging of material to customer requirements
- Scrap management of remnants and efficient scrap utilization
- Accurate work order confirmation on paper and computer
- Stage material for shipping
- Carrying/moving supplies as needed
- Maximum productivity for finished goods creation
- Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervision
