Pay: $17/hr base pay + $1 rotating shift differential + $1 night shift differential = $19/hrSchedule: (Will start on 1st shift for training and then transition to 2nd shift)1st shift (rotating schedule): 6am-6pm. Monday, Thursday & Friday one week, the next week Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
2nd shift (rotating schedule): 6pm-6am. Monday, Thursday & Friday one week, the next week Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
MUST be able to pass background + drug screening. MUST be reliable and able to work 2nd shift as these positions are for the NIGHT shift.
Description:
The Machine Operator provides set up and operate wrapping machines for production.
Duties:
- Set up and operate machinery to manufacture complex products and customized bundles
- Perform routine maintenance and maintain proper adjustment of machinery.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and notify Inventory Control of low levels or defective materials.
- Regularly review and remain current on Operating Procedures, Quality Procedures and
- Maintain a clean and safe working area using LEAN Manufacturing principals
- Work in a Team environment
Knowledge and Experience:
- Ability to read and write English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory or management experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing processes
