Summary

Supervise, train and coordinate activities of all workers engaged in Machine Shop activities for Manual Lathe & Mill and Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines in production of machined items.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervise employees in the Machine Shop. 

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance to policies and applicable laws. 

• Monitor personnel to ensure activities are conducted in accordance with AS9100/ISO policies, and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor. 

• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education/ Experience

Associates degree or higher from two years or 4-year college or technical school or 5+ years related experience; or combination of education and experience. 

Note: May be required to work overtime and on weekends.
