Quality Control Inspector for machines parts manufacturing company!

**Must Have Previous Experience In a Machined Parts Manufacturing Environment**

Duties:

Measures machined parts for conformity to customer supplied blueprint dimensions using calipers and other inspection tools.

Uses GD&T to determine acceptance of parts

Knowledge of mechanical inspection tools, processes, and methods required

• Approves in process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and mechanical measurement tests including FAI’s; communicating required adjustments to production

• Approves finished products by confirming specifications conducting visual and measurement tests, returning product for rework and then confirming rework

• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re work and waste, inputting data int quality database.

• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs

• Maintains quality and manufacturing standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, FAI, and finished products, recording quality results.

• Maintains safe & healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications

• Accomplishes quality and organizations mission by completing related results as needed

Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years mechanical inspection experience in a machine shop or similar

• 3+ years QC

• Knowledge of GT&T

• Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test

• Ability to use all related inspection equipment

• Ability to do manual layouts

• Ability to do FAI and in-process inspection

• Excellent record keeping skills

• Strong employment history

Pay is 18.00 to 24.00 DOE
