VIP Staffing is currently seeking Packers to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Albuquerque. The ideal candidates should be able to know basic math and how to use a calculator, as well as work in a team environment.
Requirements of the Packer
- High School Diploma, GED, or sufficient experience in this job
- Fast-paced prior job preferred manufacturing experience a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and move a 500 lbs. drum dolly.
- Packaging techs must be able to stand for an entire workday.

- Full 40-hour workweek
- $14.00 – $15.40 per hour

Responsibilities of the Packer
- Operate semi and fully-automatic packaging machines, and package products for storage or shipment.
- Operate and observe machines to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to product specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Machines would include but are not limited to, Main front filling systems, Bottom coders, labelers, cappers, neck bander / full body sealers, and induction sealers.
- Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to the Packaging Lead or Packaging Supervisor/Manager.
- Fill out appropriate paperwork legibly and correctly per SOP.
- Fulfill quotas and goals.
- Quality control: Follow all SOPs as well as inspect products or processes to evaluate quality or performance
- Other duties as requested
