The IT Product Owner position is responsible for defining user requirements and informing the
technology roadmap for the back-end functions, i.e. Data,
Fulfillment, Operations, Finance and HR, within the company. This is a critical cross-functional
role within the company.
Essential Functions

Partners with leadership across the organization to develop technology strategy and financial plans, including all system selection and development efforts
Maintains a three-year technology roadmap for all back-end functions
Documents business requirements and prioritizes work for development
Partners with the Finance team to build business cases and tracks performance against committed return
Communicates strategy, financial plans, project updates to executive team and Board
Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products
 
 
 
Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement
Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap.
Works with user-focused departments to define the self-service user experience, support, and 
monitoring for customers.
Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.

Supervisory Responsibility
The Product Owner does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core" work hours of 9:00 a.m. to5:00 p.m.
 
 
Bachelor’s degree plus three to five years of relevant experience
Preferred Education and Experience
Product Management experience within a high growth company
